Raced two loops of Central Park under frigid temperatures.  I didn't do anything differently from last year, although it felt that the first two miles was a bit slow.  Ran into some difficulties on the second loop when weaving through walkers/runners, but nevertheless, I was happy with the result.  The frigid temperatures didn't help me stomach the Roctane GUs...the consistency was a bit off; hence barely used any of it.  Furthermore, I was lucky enough to run miles 1-9 with my teammates.  Anyway, it is still the beginning of the year, and hopefully this is a good kick-start with Boston training.
