2011 Scotland 10K - 39:03 / 6:17

Net Time: 39:03 (PR)
Pace: 6:17
Rank: 257/8491
Age Grade: 69.0%

Second PR of 2011 and it happened in my weakest distance. I'm happy with the PR, but still feel like I could have lowered the barrier quite a bit. The fourth mile's split was the outlier where my legs felt weak and did not have the springing action. On the contrary, I felt stronger pushing up the same hills during the NYC Half a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty sure after Boston that much recovery is needed to tackle and focus more on the shorter/middle distance races. Looking forward to shorter distance races after Boston!

Nice work on the p.r., but I agree -- you should rest some after Boston. With fresh legs, I bet you could drop a lot off this time.

Things are looking good for Boston, what is your bib number so I can follow you as you run?

Good luck
