2010 NYRR 8K - 31:35 / 6:21

Chip Time: 31:35 (PR)
Pace: 6:21
Rank: 57/2644
Age Grade: 67.7%

Considering the crazy conditions, I could've stayed in my bed. Instead, opted to race the 8K this morning. I think I was pretty lucky today as I snatched my 5th PR of the year. First mile was always brutal and also the fact that I'm a slow starter; but my body adjusted to the weather 15 minutes later. Headwind was a factor after mile 3-4. Overall, great race and felt amazing to see all the soldiers out there braving mother nature. Congrats to all.

Splits:
01: 6:28:89
02: 6:08:28
03: 6:16:81
04: 6:27:34
.97: 6:15:12

Cheers,
Moz
