Registered for the Turkey Trot 5 miler out of the whim. I have no idea on what to expect since I've only put on 4 miles throughout my Asia trip. Looking at the splits, I definitely had my share of rough patches on mile 3 due to the hill and mile 4 in which I was about to hurl. Luckily, the uncomfortable feeling subsided on the last mile. I surprised myself with an almost 6 flat on the last mile. Nevertheless, despite the shitty splits, a PR is a PR, I'll take it. Added 6.7 more miles by running from the park to my apartment. What a great day to run!
