Post Kansas City

Promise this is "kind of a non-running related" post. After the NYC marathon, I'm heading back to my homeland to graze the fields and sort out the rice paddies. Yes, I'm going to Hong Kong and Thailand! Hong Kong memories are a blur to me as I came to the states since the '80s. Hopefully I can impress all my friends with my fluent cantonese skills!! NOT!!!

We went for good old dim sum in FAH-LAH-SING for some post KC celebration. This is good, as I need to get my tummy used to the oily chinese food. To those who know me, I'll have authentic chinese food/dim sum once in awhile?!?! Even my parents would rather cook up a nice batch of pasta or a mean steak!

As marathon day is looming near, I'm rather calm over the whole occasion. I think after KC's performance, some weight has lifted off my shoulders in terms of PR-ing and I doubt I would be hitting a PR or mark at every race. I think as far as goal time, I really don't have any. Funny how baldy is telling me to just go for it. I doubt my body is ready to push for another hard one; especially having Las Vegas in the works for December. I'll definitely run depending on feel and how my body responds. Overall, I'm really going to enjoy it this time! ;)

I said this was a non-related running post, yet I keep talking about. Phuck me!

Cheers,
Moz
