Key West Uno

We were glad that we stayed for one night in South Beach. South Beach was fun during my after college days, but it really gets old. It's really the same clubs and lounges that you would get in any strip of NYC PLUS all the pretentiousness. Been there, done that - time to move on! I mean, if I were to get crunked, I would do it at my own home- besides no one wants to be hungover during vacation--- waste of space man! Thank goodness we spent the remainder of our trip in Key West. Although a 4 hour drive from South Beach, it will probably be an annual destination. The Florida Keys persona was chilled and laid back. Although the beaches were rocky, it was swimmable and most of all less crowded! We rented a condo and practically was dependent on Publix every nite. It's just a great trip to spend with an important circle in my life.
