Fred Lebow 5M - 32:17 / 6:27

Final Time: 32:17
Pace: 6:27
Rank: 117/3224
Age Grade: 66.1%
Splits:
1- 6:29:56
2- 6:22:80
3- 6:26:55
4- 6:38:88
5- 6:21:75

Right before the race, the training posse, Tom (33:22 and back from his 30K PR in Hong Kong), Kieran (30:31) and i ran up to the park for a quick warmup. Currently, my right knee and IT band are bothering me. Everytime I try to stretch out my leg, I could hear little "cricks" resonating outside the patella. I don't know what it is, but like any runners, I guess we have to deal with it. I could be wrong but running is supposed to hurt, and if it aint hurting, we aint working hard enough right?!?! Sh*t happens!

This was my debut in the blue corral and met up w/ several TRD and NYHs. The first mile was slightly congested as we passed through the 102nd transverse. I think I ran a very consistent race. I definitely did see my rabbit/teammate DK from afar and really did the best that I could to keep up with him. He was just too good this morning. On hindsight, if theres anything I would regret, I wished I could've pushed a little harder on mile 3. Overall, I was happy with my splits especially clocking the fastest split on my last mile.

Now it is time to taper, ice and rest up. I am going to veg out on Sunday.

Cheers,
Moz

Congrats on moving up the corral! I really did not like it at first, but I think it motivates people! Awesome job, I would need a bike to move that fast!
