My Very First Hip-Hop/R&B Concert

Seriously....I swear I didn't purchase these tickets! After happy hour @ Lure, I was a "sub-in" at the Chris Brown Concert (w/ 50 Cent, Diddy, Lil' Mama, Souljah Boy, Omarion, Bow Wow) for a good friend of mine. I have to admit as part of the audience, we stuck out like sore thumbs. On the escalators, we got one weird look as if they have never seen asians at a hip-hop/R&B concert. Do we live in NYC???...The freakin' melting pot of the world?!? Why are these concerts so stressful?? I honestly needed a happy pill before the concert even started.

Anyway, the music was not my cup of tea. The dancing, the songs, the innuendos....I found it pretty disturbing for parents taking their children to these events. Ummm...let's say "Crank dat and superman dat ho'!"; I wonder if these kids know what they are dancing to. The dancing was intriguing at first, but gets repetitive after 10 minutes; wait not really, 8 minutes perhaps? You can find the same talent on weekend afternoons in Union Square.

By the way, I was sitting right next to this guy, whipping out at least 10 benjamins. Seriously, YOU ARE SO COOL!!!! Are you made out of money? What a douchebag!

Overall, I think i just lost my music credibility and baldy is going to rat out on me. Shyt happens!








After my very first hip-hop / R&B concert, I'm proud to say that I'm DEVIRGINZED!!! Totally De-Vee'ed!!!!!
