Consolation....The Son and The Heirs: Morrissey Tribute & LI

Pseudo-Morrissey Afterparty

Once again, the Morrissey Concert was postponed. We're still looking forward to the July 6 performance at the PNC Arts Center. I'm not making any excuses for the Mozfather, but hey, shyt happens and he's human! However, i just hope the rescheduled date does not conflict with the dates when I'm away. We made the best out of the situation by attending the Morrissey afterparty. Yes, it was a cover band called "Son and the Heirs" in the BB King Club. No shame in that as the band performed great renditions of Morrissey and Smiths material. The cover band definitely embodies the same stage mannerisms as the mozfather. Good times....

JPMorgan Corporate Challenge

At the corporate challenge, my net time was 22:56. It definitely wasn't my best time. Heck, the top 5 at my firm competing for the championships were sub 20s. Hence, no matter what time I can pull off, there was no way I'll be able to run the champs in the Fall.

Dublin 6

Since the Philly Mann concert was postponed, we opted for dinner in Sant Ambroeus and drinks at Dublin 6.

Long Island Vineyards

With 3 hours of sleep, I had to drag myself from my apartment to Queens to pick up my car that's parked at the 'rents house. I'm glad I was able to start my Sunday early after the Morrissey afterparty. It was the perfect day at the vineyards. We went to Bedell, Pindar, Duck Walk, Corey Creek, Ospreys and Raphael. Among our favorites were Duck Walk, Bedell and Raphael. By the way, we met this crazy xenophobic bitch at Raphael. Whoever you are, take that stick out of your arse and leave your "elitist" attitude in your daddy's beamer aite? Dumbass.....

Aloha and Cheers,

Moz

I love Pindar wines...especially a coupla blush ones. And Duck Walk has a great dessert wine too-it comes in a really nice blue bottle that I still have on my desk :)
