NYC Half Marathon

***Full race report to be posted in the middle of this week due to the US OPEN! I have to say that the amount of people in this race was pretty overwhelming. If there's 10,000 racers in this half, just think about the amount of people in the ING NY marathon?!?! Call it a stampede or simply Insane!!! But I have to say that chatting with the claw and sebastian during pre-race cooled down my nerves.***

Yeah, everybody's Mile 9 and 10 will be wrong. I think they put the Mile 9 marker in the wrong place.

Awesome race! And congrats on the PR!

Moz, glad to see you PR. by the time you were getting rained on on the west side, I was still in Central park, also getting soaked to the skin.

Congrats on your PR. I think I saw you in the race. First I passed you on WSH and then you passed me. :-)

You had commented on my blog entry after Bronx Half and here we are: Runners on the net! Happy running, see you at the races.

Josh- thanks man! You PR'ed too with a 1:34! Awesome job man!

Jay T- Yeah when i saw a sub 6 on mile 10 i was like "wtf?!" thanks jay

Brooklyn- i totally dread the rain it made the crosswalk pretty slippery. Also, it reminded me of the pfizer 15K challenge! But more importantly, you were out there getting soaked like all of us!! :)

stephruns- thanks steph- You scored an awesome 5K split on the half! 50-60 miles........damn I wish i could that with your ultra marathon training- Actually, i need to get started on that if i wanna aim for the knickerbocker!! YIKES!

cenk- thanks cenk. a lot of the running blogs are mentioned on the rundown website by derek. you scored an awesome time too, congrats man

nyflygirl- yeah i was pretty nervous and anxiously waiting to start. At first I didnt believe in the corrals and the stupid sticket dots on the bib. But i guess it did work out fine as it decreased the bottleneck.

unfortunately, I wont be on thurs but on friday. damn, doesn't the weather suck right now?!?!

Also, you will kick major ass on the next race!
