Obviously I didn't execute a sub 34 on this race. I wasn't really affected by the weather. Like I have stated before, I love running in these warm and muggy conditions. Although I will admit to the fact that I was a bit dehydrated from all the drinking last nite at Plunge in the Ganesvoort hotel after Vento. Miles 1-2 looked pretty good, but I lost a lot of time on mile 4 going up the hill. I just have to listen to the Beast next time to go a bit slower on the first few miles. Also, I'll use better judgement next time to sleep a bit early and limit myself to 3 drinks before the race. :)

After the race, I met up with Kyle and the Suzuki's for a bit, then headed to run two more loops of the reservoir (total for the week: 40M)
One more thing, it is good to see Paul (BAP) back in action!
Next up, Run for the Parks 4 miler, Shea and Club Champs!

Hangover runs are hard. I feel your pain.
josh - totally...this will be part of my "lessons learned". I always tell myself not to drink before the race, yet, it never happens! I need more willpower! :)
I think I saw you one Saturday. You were sitting on the bench and I was putting my chip on my shoe. I got a little case of shyness though and didn't say hello. So belated hello and I hope you enjoyed the run. I actually PRed on the course (for me that's 1:02:51). The pool was cold though.
hey, at least you made it to the start line with said hangover...i had to bail on a 15K once last year because I knew i'd be sick if i tried to attempt running 9.3 miles with a killer hangover :)
